Betfred Airlines spot was the first installment of three, and to pull it off director Bethan Seller got to spread her wings to create a throwback set of stylised characters: from the honeymoon couple in matching outfits, to the typical elderly couple (who she claims ALWAYS seem to be lumbered next to her on every flight she’s on…), to the familiar Vegas faces. This spot was shot on an airhost training plane, which had been chopped in half and was being stored on the fringes of Manchester Airport’s runway. It was a real squeeze getting in cast, crew, lights and all of the art department!
