Shot on location in the desolation outside of Joshua Tree, “Demon” is a one-act play produced in collaboration with Gorilla protégé-turned-prodigy, writer/director Caleb Slain. A horror-thriller, the project was a first of its kind production, shot under a full moon utilizing only natural moonlight, lanterns, candles, and fire.

Demon stars Kirk Baltz (of Reservoir Dog’s fame) and won the top Jury Award for Best Narrative Short Film at the 2017 Austin Film Festival. It also won an ECA (Emerging Cinematographer Award) for our director of photography Drew Dawson.
