Driverless | 360˚ Video

For HITACHI

DRIVERLESS was designed as part of an installation for the Tokyo Motor Show 2017.

Slain X Dav was faced with the challenge of translating a bullet list of Hitachi’s self-driving car features into a VR-specific experience. For DRIVERLESS, we developed conceptual interpretations for each of Hitachi’s innovations and wove them into a surreal spatial narrative that takes place in a futuristic desertscape. The abstractions of the features allow each viewer to experience the technology like they would a dream; conceptually and non-verbally, with plenty of room to discover and imagine.
