Juke, spin, and jump.

During pre-production, Nathanael Sherfield stifled his excited, screaming inner-child and calmly crafted a world for Barry to do what he does best: juke, spin, and jump. In fact, he even made himself a promise:

“When blocking a scene, do NOT, under any circumstance, personally demonstrate how to juke, spin, and jump, to the actual Barry Sanders.”

Naturally, the next day Barry asked for an example and Nathaneal obliged. Barry shrugged and teased “That was adequate.” The whole crew cracked up and he brought his intensity to every take. Class act, totally humble dude.
